Today was hazy, but I made it through! Only TWO MORE DAYS OF SOCIAL WORKERDOM to go! Kind of nuts, in the most awesome of ways. Unfortunately I will be celebrating with some oral surgery come December 6th, and I am sure you patient readers will hear much more on this subject as the anxiety mounts! Luckily, I have the most adorable oral surgeon who has ever lived (and the only one I have ever met) and he thinks I’m pretty funny and gave me a valium to take before the big event.
But anyway, this will not conflict with some fun blog-related events I plan to attend next week, the first being a blogger happy hour on the 1st at new shop Dog&Pony on Guadalupe, which looks to have some seriously cute printed t-shirts similar to the one I am wearing today. The second event is pretty fabulous, and features an ice skating rink on the roof of Whole Foods. Need I say more? The Austin blogger Bleet-Up!

Good luck with your oral surgery! I've had ten teeth removed total…six by the dentist, four by an oral surgeon. And I have an adverse reaction to the gas, so they had to give me 11 shots of anesthetic instead for my wisdom teeth. I was so numb after I had to eat my McFlurry while looking in the mirror to make sure it was getting in my mouth!
