As I was perusing my magazines two months late (as usual), I noticed the most thrilling trend! I spotted Jenna from JCrew wearing a sweater with a fancy skirt to the Met Ball or something, and of course I had to jump right on that. What could be more fun than a comfy sweater with a pretty skirt? Add some sparkly jewels and colorful tights and you’ve got yourself a funky little getup right? I felt really great in this outfit, and I feel like I could go pretty much anywhere. Like work….
So next time you want to mix up your wintery sweater, try it with a dressy skirt–they look really cute with sequins and any other opposing texture as well. The thicker and more nubby the sweater, the more silky and satiny you can go on the bottom!
