As I sit freezing in my windy house during a weird cold front, I reminisce over what I wore yesterday when it was 87 out…sigh. This t-shirt dress is my favorite summer staple because it’s basically a nightgown that’s appropriate to wear in public. It’s sooo soft, drapey, and doesn’t feel like anything is touching me. There’s nothing worse than being touched by anything when it’s super hot!

Since it is still spring, I added a punchy scarf and some necklaces to gussy it up, something I recommend when wearing less structured pieces because it gives a boxy piece a little shape. The wider the dress or top, the more it needs an anchor, I say. Hopefully it will get warm again and I can live out my fantasy of wearing this giant t-shirt every day.
