Laurel Kinney is an incredible talent. The Sort, Shop, and Style experience was so helpful, and a lot of fun! Having been up until recently fairly confident in styles that worked for me, I found myself newly forty and looking for some help finding some updated outfits that are flattering, good for going out or just hanging out, and yet not awkwardly “too young”. Laurel picked up on my style and goals immediately and intuitively.

First was the Sort exercise. We collaborated to cull ill-fitting, unflattering, and outdated garments from my closet. I was grateful for Laurel’s gentle candor and guidance, as otherwise this would have been a task I could have easily procrastinated indefinitely. She was also adept at rescuing items I had given up on, as she had a vision for them. I was happy to have a neat, roomy closet, and I felt good knowing the clothes would be given to others.

The Shop experience was amazing. It was definitely the best shopping experience I’ve ever had. Each store’s dressing room was pre-filled with beautiful apparel, all well-suited to my shape, style, and goals. Laurel has impeccable taste, and her input was invaluable… with her unique blend of aesthetic, consideration of my budget, and vision of what would work best with my existing wardrobe. I am so happy with my purchases from that trip.

I wasn’t sure how the Style session would go, turns out, it was what pulled everything together. Laurel envisioned dozens of outfits composed of my current wardrobe and my newly acquired pieces. She provided photos of me in the outfits in a private album, for convenient reference later. Notes and links of potential complementary pieces in the comments of the photos completed this wonderful experience.
