Boston Boys

This South by Southwest, instead of simply posting my boring old outfits, I have decided to be a roving blogger, taking it to the streets to show you what’s up out here in gorgeous Austin, Texas during lots of people’s favorite and least favorite time of year. I happen to love SXSW because it means FREE FOOD and FREE DRINKS and oh yeah, FREE MUSIC.

Last night, my friend Stephanie (follow her on twitter!) and I were roaming around together and noticed that we were basically swimming in a sea of blue checkered shirts. It was too crazy to pass up, so I started snapping some shots. Unfortunately my phone was dying and the flash didn’t want to cooperate, but you get the idea. If you want to stand out from the crowd this year, and you are a dude, wear anything but checkered or plaid shirts. If you want to fit right in, look sharp, perfectly suited for the casual occasion, but still networking-ready, wear the heck out of plaid. Blue, especially!

I’ve begun to try my hand at men’s styling recently too, dudes, so hit me up if you hate shopping and want me to help you figure out what to wear.
