Aw, heck. It’s back to boxy and draped after all. I gave dressing conventionally sexy a good college try, and now it’s back to my brand of sexy dressing: something loose and striped, chunky boots, and tight jeans. I think it’s fun to try out new personas through dressing, but it’s even more fun to find your own personal formula; you go-to outfits that just make you feel sexy and confident because they are so totally YOU. That’s what this outfit is for me. I don’t feel self-conscious about my boobs showing, too much tightness or leg, and I think that’s why when I wear something like this I have an extra touch of swagger in my stride. It’s hard to have a swagger-filled stride if you are busy tugging your top to cover your cleavage!
When I meet with a new client I always try to figure out what kind of outfits give them the most swing in their step. Why not have a closet full of your-brand-of-sexy outfits?

I always admire your swagger
You look rather…smiley…in love, if you will.

I’m 100% in love with the beautiful, strong, amazing women in my life! GIRL POWERSZZZZ what!
A friend recently sent me a link to your blog–I love it! I really like this look, and I think basics can still be “sexy” even if it’s not traditionally “sexpot.”
I love this! I especially love the little pop of floral with those stripes. This outfit is great!
At the risk of sounding completely cliche, I think the sexiest person is the person who is confident and caring themselves with ease. There’s something so un-sexy about teetering on stilettos and tugging mini skirts down.
I love the floral tank underneath – totally unexpected!
I love this too, Laurel!
You have so much swagger! I love the loose top and skinny jeans combination. Are you going to be at TXSC this year? Hope to see you at the HGS pop-up shop.
YOU ARE SO CAYUTEEEEEE, so adorbs per usual.
I miss you my pretty & your little dog too
I love your floral peeking out from under your stripes!!
I love how your floral top peeks out from under the striped sweater. You always look so cute in your boxy tops and skinny pants.
floral under stripes…brilliant!
