Good evening! I am glad you all enjoyed my grungy post from yesterday! It seems I may have stumbled upon blog-gold, or blogold as it will henceforth be named, when I wore my best 90’s inspired look. It’s funny how one giant cardigan can make such a difference. I really feel weird when I see those long floral 90’s dresses in vintage shops now. They remind me of all that I thought was bad about the 90’s so I think it’s funny that girls are wearing them now with sincerity. I guess it helps to maybe not have seen those dresses the first time around! Don’t get me wrong, though, I love a good floral (see tank top and socks). Just not sunflower patterns. Ugh. Those were the worst! But grunge is something I can get behind. Because it means I don’t have to buy anything!
Dude, I’m going to see some real 90’s hip hop tonight though. The Pharcyde! Finally! I know they played at my school when I was in college, but I missed it, okay??

I have a harder time with certain 80's bits, like zipper ankles and neon. A little bit goes a long way, although I agree with the floral dresses. When do you think the "Rachel" will come back? Maybe that wasn't long enough ago.

Your mention of sunflowers brought me back to sixth grade in a major way. I was all about them! I even wanted a sunflower comforter. Dolphins were also very high on my trend meter that year.
