And endless sneezing and blowing of the nose. I mean come on. It’s so beautiful out here, and there’s just a narrow window when it’s not boiling hot with tons of mosquitoes. I’m spending it feeling sick. So lame! So this week I have been trying to hide my illness with pink lipstick (yesterday) and floral pants. I got these pants towards the end of last summer, on the sale rack at Saks. I have been having a hard time styling them, though. They are dangerously close to soccer mom-ish if worn with anything but white or grey tops, I have found. But I love them, so please help me think of ways to style these pretty babies, will you? Cuz I think these allergies are sticking around for a while….

Not everyone looks good in floral pants. Girl, you are ROCKING them!
P.S. Can I tell you that you have the best haircut ever? I saw you at TxSCC and wanted to compliment your hair, but I wasn't sure if that would be weird. So of course, I waited and told you on the internet. :o)
I adore the pattern on the pants, like hardcore.
Also, allergies are NOT fun. I just developed them this year and I hate it.
Feel better!

Booo I have allergies too! Haha here in Atlantic Canada we joke that we have three seasons: Winter, Mud, and Construction. Mud would be Spring!
Those pants are sooo cool. I'd wear them pushed up as high as they'd go on your calf so they sort of look like harem pants, with a tight red tank top! And if they fell down the way they want to hang, no biggie 😉 A leather jacket would look really cool too!

This is THE perfect Spring outfit…love the pants…please send some warm weather my way:)
Stop by and say Hello:)

Loooove your floral pants!!! I've been wanting to break mine out too, but have been a bit nervous. I just need to do it. You look adorable! Yay for warm weather!!!
cool cool cool pants! love them with the earrings!
There is nothing soccer mom-ish about you or your pants! I think they look great on you- it's like your legs are welcoming spring!!
Great pants! The print is so classic but the color looks so fun…love it!
How about your lace top or your stripey one?
true, they are white and grey respectively, but pattern mixing is still super cool.

hope you find some floral shorts too <3<3 not sure if you can get quirky circus in the states though!
I love the pants, but I can see where they would travel into soccer mom territory if you aren't careful. I would wear them with spaghetti-strap tops, tank tops (always in neutral colors), and high stiletto heels. You'll probably look more like Peggy Bundy, but at least you won't be confused for a soccer mom.

I love your pants!! They remind me of pop rocks for some reason. hehe You totally pull 'em off. So jealous of your Spring weather!!
I haven't been following for very long, so I don't know the contents of your wardrobe, but something colorful with edgy accents like exposed zip or shoulder embellishments could be a non-soccer-mom-ish choice. More Lady Gaga than Lady of the Minivan.
Love the pants. -Laurel

LOVE THIS! Seriously, these are some awesome pants.
I like LyddieGal's idea and doing some pattern mixing. I'm still nervous about wearing mixed patterns myself, but I can definitely see a striped top with this. With high heels and a great necklace! I can see it already…
