Oh I talk a lot of shit about shorts with tights sometimes. I find it super uncomfortable when your tights get all bunchy and when your shorts feel too tight from layering. But I finally found a comfortable tights/shorts combo, and only feel slightly like a crazy person. Here’s the key to nailing shorts with tights:
1. FIT: The shorts should be loose. If they are tight without tights, don’t even bother. You will be sorry. Only attempt if you don’t mind readjusting every ten minutes.
2. COLOR: If you select tights in a similar hue as your shorts, you will appear taller. Same goes with the color of your shoes. Black shorts, black tights, and black shoes will look super sleek, slim, and long. I am not displaying an example of this!
3. LENGTH: Tights can save short shorts, I tell you. They automatically make super short appear sophisticated, and you don’t have to have tan legs OR shave! Win win!
So there you go, I have convinced myself to try more shorts and tights combos now. What about you?

Yep. I’m convinced. I realized the same thing about the length when wearing short skirts with tights. Why did I not realize this before this morning? No idea. But yea, I’ve always been sorta “eh” about shorts with tights too, unless you own some crazy cool tights like those purple ones.
I’m a huge fan of the short/tights combo when done right, and you’re definitely doing it right here

I too like this style, a LOT! Being a man I don’t use as short shorts as you do. I think just above the knee works better for me. Wearing shorts and tights as man isn’t a problem even if I’m pretty alone with this style. Hahaha…
Most people find my style cool and I wish more men would dare to try. Shorts and tights is super comfortable and it looks really great. The best part is that I don’t need to show my pale legs. 😀
