Every so often I get a wild hair to wear these hideously awesome boots from the 12th grade. Yes, I help people part ways with their unworn clothing as a profession, but I do feel there are a few key pieces no one should ever throw out, even if they languish for years collecting dust. You never know when something will feel perfect again, and it’s better than falling back on old vices, right?
There’s something so nostalgic and hilarious about wearing these boots that I just couldn’t resist throwing them on with my cutoffs and buttoned-up-to-there blouse. I felt very Winona in Reality Bites. I may or may not have had the guts to wear this out of the house, but it felt good nonetheless.

Lookin’ good – no babydoll dress? 😉
well i think you could totally pull it off in the real world.
I’m a huge fan of this look. Really.
And what Laurel says goes, as you know.
I would have never guessed those boots were from the past. They are SO in right now! Especially when paired w something girly and delicate – which is exactly how you chose to wear them! Good eye, lady
I especially love the first photo ^__^

By the way, your hair is ridiculously cute. Love the color/cut combo
Thanks, lady! I have a hard time keeping up with it, but it’s worth it….:)
Aw you look cute! I’m kind of in love with your blouse – especially all buttoned up like that. It’s great with your cutoff shorts.
