After my bout with acupuncture, and the further demise of my TOMS (see below), I needed to comfort myself by wearing lots of long layers. It rained for the first time since…? and got to pull out the boots again.
I have been getting lots of great suggestions for blog topics recently, and I want to take a moment to welcome more! I love to answer specific fashion questions because it gives me inspiration for outfits and what to research in my quest to help my clients and readers. I have a few good interviews and before and after/how-to posts planned, but am wondering, what kinds of topics do y’all want to see more of? I had a brief dalliance with reviewing certain products I use, and did some posts on what images inspire me, but I am not really much of a cut-and-paster, and I would much rather have a dialogue. What do you guys think?

Top: Anthro, Jeans: Madewell, Cardigan: Alternative Apparel (Dog&Pony), Boots: Zara, Earrings: KS

First I barfed on them, then I left them out in the rain :(

poor toms. all that glitter, rained and barfed upon!
you look super cute in your rainy day gear. Its raining here too!
Oh no! Your poor toms. I really love this outfit with it’s laid back feel. Ok, so here’s a question I have:)
I’m hoping (crossing my fingers) for a promotion in my job. Right now I can pretty much wear what ever I want (excluding jeans and t-shirts) but I may need to step it up a notch in the business attire. I typically wear vintage mixed with modern pieces but can sometimes look a little “costumey”. How can I do the same thing with more of a business type look?
Poor Toms. You look lovely – so envious of not remembering the last time it rained
hope you’re feeling better!! you look very cool, I always love skinnies with lace up boots because it looks so badass
correction: First Penny chewed a large hole in them, THEN you barfed on them, THEN you left them out in the rain. Now they are unwearable but overflowing with character.
Sometimes it’s really comforting to have a rainy day and an excuse to wrap up in comforting layers. I’m so sorry you were sick – sounds awful! And yet you still posted. Hats off, lady!

Love your layers. <3 Will try to think of some questions/topics soon!
