Here’s a dress I haven’t worn since it was warm out. I thought I would try my hand at styling it for winter, or “winter” as I call it here in Austin because right now it’s oh, 58 degrees here. But anyways. I keep trying to figure out my 30 for 30 pieces and thinking I should wear the stuff that is impossible to remix, but I find that everything I pick out I want to try in different ways, so the challenge is already working! I now want to add this dress to my pieces since I have discovered it is wonderful to layer over!
Of course these little shoes will be in the mix. I have a hard time not wearing them with everything. Oh and as requested, my nail polish is by Essie, but I got it done at a nail place, so I can’t remember the name. I love non-metallic nail polish in non-reds and non-pinks, so this one is kind of a khaki green with very little shimmer.
Also today I happen to be wearing TWO shades of eye color at once. One is Nars and one is MAC. I will write a post about eyeliner sometime soon I think.
Jumping for joy that I am getting my hair cut this afternoon by the wonderfully talented Crystal at Vain Salon! I’m gonna be her hair model in the next few weeks so I will keep you posted…

SUPER pretty dress! And I love the pop of eye color!
I have one word for this dress: gorgeous! Oh, and ''winter'' in Austin sounds like my kind of winter.
What a perfect dress! I can see this so many ways, but I love it with the brogues.
I read "I will write a post about eyeliner sometime soon I think." as "I will write a poem about eyeliner sometime soon I think." And I'm not saying you have to do that obviously, but um, that would be awesome.
(Hi! I've been reading for a while but I always have trouble getting started with the commenting at new blogs. It's awkward, meeting new people, even online sometimes)
I deeply love the print of this dress. Whatta match.
Such a gorgeous print, colour and shape. I am crazy about this kind of cut.
So versatile. Can't wait to see more of this one!

Great outfit! I really like this one. The cosy cardigan, the floral print dress, and your adorable leather shoes.
Beautiful dress, and love how you paired it with the chunky cardigan. 😀
Ms Wanda approved big time of that dress. I'm all for doing multiple seasonal dresses. Love the colour too, looks fab with the eye shadow. A+ for today's outfit.

This works perfectly!! I really like how you used a beige sweater with it- it looks so cute! And I always admire those shoes- I think they add a perfect, vintagey pop of color to the whole outfit.
That's really cool eyeliner! I just got some metallic bright blue liquid liner, and I'm super excited to use it. It's always a fun change from black!!

I wish my mom knew how to sew so that I could have worn prairie dresses to school. That's awesome that you wore a pinafore on your first day of 2nd grade. You go girl!
I totally thought your post title was "Pretty in Vintage" which it totally should be! Totally!
