Sorry to pummel y’all with my favorite jeans AGAIN, but I cannot tell a lie. I wear these suckers all the time. I thought today I would document my rumpled, messy-haired, bespectacled, self and share a weekend-ready look fit for the luckiest day of the year: 11/11/11. Or just fit for a weekend of bike riding, dog walking, coffee drinking, or whatever else you might drink (or might float your boat) this weekend.
Since I have short hair, I get a little shy wearing menswear-y dandy outfits like this one. But guess what? I’m still a lady, and I can kind of pose like one to make up for my boyish outfit. If you have long hair, wear it loose with preppy outfits like this one, or just tie it in a loose pony. I think a pair of Chuck Taylors would also look adorable with this, and if it gets warm, rolling up the sleeves of the shirt. Sometimes letting my preppy nerd come out is so relaxing!
