Happy Thanksgiving! I have created an outfit that will allow for much feasting! This dress is great–it’s warm enough to guard me against the so-called cold front that’s blowing in (it’s been humid and hot all week) and it’s got a belt that I don’t bother putting through the loops because it’s easier to remove that way (and under the table so no one notices). The dress turns into a kind of glamorous rectangular poncho, if such a thing can be said of a poncho.

I’m so glad that I didn’t die during the 5-mile Turkey Trot this morning, and only had a few lost-child moments when I couldn’t find my buddies afterward. I’m so very much looking forward to cool weather, relaxing, and a glass of wine later. I guess one could say that I am thankful.

Oh and I’m also pretty excited because I won a Mucho Mucho Bueno Bueno key necklace in Robyn‘s giveaway! Yay for winnings! I’ll show it off soon enough….
