Last week a client and I shared a wonderful a-ha moment when we discovered that her skirts look best when they are sitting higher than usual, on her natural waist. It’s a beautiful day when you find the clothing that makes you feel lighter and happier, and sometimes that involves discovering long-ignored body parts! I was so inspired by waist-flattering outfits, I thought I would give it a go myself with this nautical skirt I found at Last Call a while back…
In other news, I am going to be traveling next week, and I have been so busy getting my life together (lots of exciting changes over here at TB), that the blogging has been on the back-burner. I am looking forward to borrowing the cameraman’s laptop and having a little bit of airport free-time to blog and finally catch up on all my reading. Plus, I can’t wait to share with you some posts about packing a suitcase and what to wear to your college reunion! Also, I can’t wait to be done packing my suitcase, and to figure out what the hell I am going to wear to my college reunion…

I try to wear skirts at my natural waist, makes my curves look a whole lot less bulky. You look great as usual! I love the nautical look.

I have a short torso so sometimes high waist skirt didnt flatter me, it depends on the cut I guess, anyway have fun with your trip and YES I do need tips on how to pack and unpack!! I’m going on vacation in a month and seriously need to have this lesson learn before I go on binge shopping LOL
