Happy Halloween, people. I don’t have my shit together enough to give you an amazing costume post like last year, but as you can see I once made an excellent mime! This weekend I debuted my sweater for the first round of sweater weather of the year, but I still have some warm-weather posts to get through, so you’ll have to wait to see the photographic evidence.
Here we have the magical powers of the high-waisted, wide-legged jean, creating the illusion of the longest legs possible on a person, especially when combined with a tucked-in top. I’ve added a belt to create even more waist-definition and to balance out the volume of the lacy top and wide legs. When wearing wide legged jeans, it’s fun to select a top that mimics the volume of the legs. A chunky platform sandal or boot will also give you extra height and balance. It’s spooky how tall I look, isn’t it? ATTACK OF THE GIANT LAUREL!!!! AHHHH!!!

You do look fantastically tall! I love it! I’d love a pair of nice high-waisted jeans sometime. They’re hard to find! Atleast for me. I love that cute top you paired with them.
