Just a quick snapshot of my outfit before I went out last night with some new lady friends to the new W Hotel bar. The dress is one I found at Madewell when I was on my mission for yesterday’s purple striped sweater. I couldn’t resist this dress because of the pretty pleats that go in a sort of lopsided crisscross across the bodice. Plus it was on sale.

The new W is pretty swanky, and there were tons of older men scoping for ladies…We sequestered ourselves in the back room and had our overpriced drinks while sitting in comfy couches. It was pretty comfortable for a fancy bar. Not a place I would usually go, so it was a fun night!
