This week we’re getting festive over here with some sparkling holiday getups al la Trey (my totally awesome intern). I love the combination of color with a little gold or silver sequin–so much more fun than straightforward metallic. It’s easy to do without spending a ton of money on a specific dress, too!

All you need is one dazzling item, like a top or a skirt or even a piece of crazy costume jewelry and you can mix it with your bright-colored or jewel-toned separates and have an outfit that can take you from day to night with the swift switch of one top or skirt (or what have you).
