I have a personal rule: don’t walk the dog in my pajamas. I mean, you never know who you will run into when you’re out in the neighborhood, and I for one do not condone pajamas in public. Nor do I condone workout gear while not actually exercising. Walking a small dachshund doesn’t exactly qualify as exercising in my book. That’s how I ended up wearing a weird print mix with my jeans. Penny didn’t seem to mind, and I was glad I was dressed, because I met an insurance agent who gave me his card and told me that it’s “the most important card” I will ever have.
I noticed that I am wearing an outfit that was purchased almost entirely at local businesses here in Austin! The top is from Solid Gold on E. 5th and Comal, the shoes are from Dog&Pony on the drag, and the earrings are from Mana Culture on S. 1st. You guys should totally check out these shops!

Those shoes are great, for starters. I really, really, really dislike when people go tromping around in public in their pajamas, sweats, etc. I can only think of a handful of times I’ve gone out in workout clothes and that was because I was heading to or leaving from a workout. So I totally understand.
Hopefully something spectacular comes of that insurance agent and his super important card, haha.

really love the print of the shoes with the tank! great combo and pattern clash. Penny is tooooo cute. You know, once I actually went out in my sweats because I was hungover, but it was a fatal mistake… i ran into everyone I knew (literally, an ex I hadnt seen in years an old high school teacher… etc). Never, ever doing that again.

Agreed — no pajamas in public! I don’t mind workout gear so much but those flannel or printed pajama pants? Those will be the death of me one day. Hate it!
