The very first thing I wanted to do when I bought these pants (besides celebrate and brag about them) was wear them with a dark denim shirt. Only problem was, I didn’t have a dark denim shirt yet! Fast forward a few weeks, and lo and behold, the most perfect denim shirt just about jumped out at me, and word on the street was that Sissy Spacek bought three of these exact shirts the day before I did, so you see this is a very special denim shirt indeed. I am hoping to wear this neutral piece with every dang bottom in my closet this spring, MARK MY WORDS.
Printed pants are everywhere this spring, and if you’re into trying some, I really recommend doing so with a denim or chambray shirt. You can layer them over a tank or tee or button them up under a sweater or cardigan and they add a little interest and texture without competing with the print. Simple!

Cute outfit. You’ll get so much wear out of that shirt. I wear my chambray and denim shirts all the time. They literally go with everything.
