I made a secret promise to myself not to have Penny posing in all of my upcoming outfit posts and I already broke the secret promise. She’s just so cute, and so brown, and so matched my outfit today. Plus I forgot to take an outfit photo until we were in the backyard together, ok??? Get off my back already!
I did tear myself away from her long enough to attend the blogger happy hour at 3 month-old Dog and Pony boutique here in Austin (Penny gets carsick so she couldn’t come). They have some super cool stuff there that can’t be found elsewhere around town, like a bevy of sweet oversized tribal-printed tees and some handmade Guatemalan-printed oxfords and booties. I got a boxy striped sweater I am sure to debut soon enough.
I also picked up all my pre-surgery meds for Monday’s big 4-tooth extraction. I can’t tell you how freaked out I am. Wait, yes I can. I’M FREAKED OUT. I could barely stand to listen to the pharmacist explain the meds to me. I am looking forward to laying on the couch with my little doggie and being fed smoothies, however….we’ll see.
