Happy Monday, people. This weekend was rainy and was perfect sweater weather! Do you ever get worried that crewneck sweaters aren’t that versatile? I mean, you can’t unbutton them over another shirt, or if they’re kind of bulky, wear other stuff over them all that easily. These are the kinds of things that keep me up at night, so I’ve been trying to find ways to switch up the crewneck sweater for you, and will share my late-night anxiety ridden findings with you, my dear readers.
The first, and perhaps easiest way to switch up your sweater is to wear a collared shirt underneath. This might also be the perfect time to try mixing prints. I wore a floral collared shirt under my striped sweater, as I suggested in this print-mixing post. I’ve also forgone the basic old jeans for my trusty tights with shorts combo. Phew, now I can sleep tonight!

Is there anything preppier than a striped sweater layered over a collared shirt? Super cute, and I’m glad you wont be losing anymore sleep.
Get your sleep! I love a good, preppy look – like the collared shirt under a crew neck sweater
Great look, I love peter-pan collars so much 😉
