About this time every year I get out the crazy floral pants again…I wore them last year with glee (and a white blouse) and this year with the ever-versatile denim shirt. The denim shirt is a powerful thing. This week I met up with three of my favorite ladies: Michelle, Cristina, and Lauren (all fashionistas) and three of us were wearing denim shirts, NO FOOLING. I also think it’s great that there are patterned pants all over the place this season, and what could be easier to wear with patterned pants than a simple striped tee and a denim shirt? Nothing, I tell you.

Yes, the patterned pant can be intimidating, but if you need a little pick-me-up, you’re not afraid of getting lots of unsolicited comments (compliments, some), and you have something super simple to wear on top, there should be nothing to stop you.
