Well, this was an outfit I threw on after getting off of a plane. I was doing laundry. That means all of my good bras were being washed, and therefore I only had this one wrong bra to wear under my mustard top with my ketchup pants! I still enjoyed this color mix, though. It was just the right amount of fun to inject a little energy into my jetlagged afternoon.
Tip: Use laundry day as a day to wear those outfits you wouldn’t necessarily throw together otherwise. Try different color and pattern combos. If you get a strange comment just say, “What? It’s laundry day!” but you might end up creating something magical, and in that case say “thanks!”

I love wearing jersey-knit shorts and old t-shirts on laundry day. By far, you look more put-together in comparison! Aren’t Urban Outfitters basics the best?
I would have never thought it was laundry day. You look so cute. And did I already mention that I like those loafers A LOT!? Goodwill steal.
One time I had to do laundry in my bathing suit. I had literally worn everything I owned. True story.
I love the bold mix of colors on you! Now all you need is a hot dog in one hand and a green bag in the other as the relish! Haha. You’d probably still look cute, too.
from now on, my pants will never be red, only “ketchup”.
i can’t wait to copy this outfit! 😉
Your laundry days are much more productive than mine. Mine tend to be jammies and a hoodie or a tee that’s my husband’s. hahaha
I really like these colors together! Everything is so bright and fun!
Hahah, I know I must have too many clothes, because even when I haven’t done laundry in two weeks, I still don’t have to resort to potentially strange combinations.
Still, nothing wrong with yellow and red, they look quite nice together!
hey Laurel, I must say this – u just rock those red jeans every time you wear them! I’m inspired to wear red pants now… very sooon!!
Aw, thanks lady! I think everyone should have a pair of these babies!
