I couldn’t decide between this title and the title “Blog-Over” because I feel like I have a combination of both. It’s a blog love hangover? I am talking about my Texas Style Council Conference experience, which I can’t stop thinking and tweeting about. On a side note, I think I figured out twitter this weekend. I mean, I now understand why people like it. Of course, when I tried to explain it to cameraman Paul later, he still looked confused. So I guess I need to work on my twitter-articulation.
Yesterday was jam-packed full of interesting panel discussions and networking. If you are interested in a minute-by-minute recap, just check out Elissa‘s twitter feed, because she is super handy with the ipad and tweeted the whole thing. Might I add that Elissa, Erin, and I bonded BIG TIME and discovered that we have more in common than just blogging? They were super polite about the long wait at the burger place I took them to and even liked my stories about Quaker summer camp.
I also loved meeting Jessie (who I randomly saw on the sidewalk and drove to her hotel on Friday), the adorable Tanvi with the beautiful chin, Katy of Kansas Couture, who writes the first blog I ever followed, and of course Kendi, who is MORE adorable in person than on her blog, if you can believe that.
Sorry for all the name-dropping, but there are seriously like ten more people I want to mention too….but I am so pooped out! Maybe tomorrow…..
