I thought today, since it’s grey and dreary and drizzly and weird, would be the perfect day to post this bright and cheery outfit. It’s also yet another way to wear your oxford shoes! The idea of the outfit is super simple to replicate also: it’s one part corduroy, one part basic sweater, and one part scarf-as-necklace. I love the fact that it’s so simple, but has such fun saturated colors as to make it impossible to feel bad in. I’m all about using outfits to elevate the mood.
If you have an ample bust, as I secretly do (shhhh), you might feel a little on display in a tight, high-necked sweater like this one. I usually try to stick to lower scoop- or v-necks to de-emphasize the boob area, but another trick to breaking up the chest real estate on a sweater or crew-neck top is to wear a large necklace or a scarf. It breaks up the space just like a scoop neck does! Yay, scarves!
