It’s still juuuust cool enough to do some layers which has really been the only reason I’m not totally freaking out about getting dressed this week. I had been looking forward to layering this sweater over dresses ever since I found it, and the colors here were fun to wear.
This week I am working on a seminar I’m giving on Thursday night at a local wig salon/spa called Top This! which is owned and operated by women who happen to also be cancer survivors. I am going to be speaking to a group of their clients about dressing according to body type and how to incorporate spring trends into their wardrobe. I am kind of nervous, but totally excited.

Great colors! It's so dreamy. 😀
The seminar sounds like a very fun opportunity!
I love this sweater with this dress, it goes perfectly.
Chic on the Cheap
I LOVE this outfit! You look gorgeous. You're going to be great at your seminar, too. They'll love you.
You will do just fine at the seminar. Also do not forget I still want that dress 😉 hehe [only half joking!]
I love the layering you did here. Those colors work great together, and you look lovely.
the color combination here is oh so sweet. i like how you chose blue tights, too
i'd also be nervous if i had to speak to other people about dressing for their body type…i'd be terrified of saying something i deem innocent and someone else finds offensive– which happens with me more often that not. best of luck!
cute! i love the bow from your dress sticking out of your sweater… cute touch! and i love your boots!
i'm thinking of doing the 30 for 30, but am kind of nervous…. hmmmmm….
Love it! The deep colour of the tights makes it all pop brilliantly and that cute little bow! 😀
All the best for your talk!
I love the pale pink sweater over that dress! The blue tights are perfect with it 😀
Your seminar sounds amazing, you'll do great!
M xo
That sweater is perfect with the dress for sure. I have a short-sleeved sweater almost like that from Goodwill, and I've worn it a grand total of twice. Not sure light pink is my color, though I liked it when I bought it….maybe I just need a dress with the exact colors in yours.
fresh, springy pastels, sixties influences and a bow: very cute!
Love the layers! The tie/bow poking out from the top of the sweater is perfect.
Your seminar sounds really interesting. Good luck! Hope it goes well:)
This is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVES, Laurel. Sorry for shouting. Just that little tie-neck peeking out over your cardigan is so. happy.
I think this is my favourite so far! looooove the colour combination, you look so great!
These colors are totally cool together…really great outfit…the tights are a nice balance:)
Hi! I'm linking to your post today because I'm talking about neapolitan. I hope that's cool. I love how you layered this sweater on your dress! So cool that you're doing your event in Thursday! I'm growing out my hair again to donate to cancer patients. It's not not a big sacrifice but hopefully something to help.
Come check out my 30! Jen Hemming and Hawing Again
I love the pastels with the navy tights! And what a great seminar to be a part of! It sounds very inspiring!
It was great to see you last week too. (I forgot how tall you are!)

Wow that is so great about Top This! Very cool that you are getting to that audience. I passed your card on to my friend Shelley who is a doctor, I hope you hear from her!
the colors and layering in this outfit are fun indeed! i reallyyyy like this
I love the colors of this outfit. I am looking forward to giving my living room a makeover and I've been planning on painting my walls the color of your sweater and I have a gray velvet couch and I was going to accent with blue- the color of tights. Yummm.

I really really really like that dress as a skirt, and the bow-tie peeking out at the collar is very cute.
