Striped Dress, Two Ways

Two Ways to Wear Printed Dress

And the belting continues! I haven’t worn this dress (which I also think is a beach cover-up) since February, when I wore it during the 30 for 30 challenge. I wore it with a sweater here, with my brief foray into tall socks here, all prim and proper with a belted cardigan here. I can’t even believe I could think of one more way to wear it, but hey, I love a good style challenge, so here are TWO MORE ways to wear this little number. Belted with the versatile woven belt, with and without a chambray shirt. So much blue! So many stripes! Makes me wonder if I will ever wear this to the beach at all. I think it’s just a day dress.

  1. Isn’t it awesome when you’re actually able to remix and remix and then remix something you own? People are always talking about the versatility of a piece, but it usually only gets worn once or twice in basically the same way. Congrats on not being one of those people. :) Love the colors and print of the dress and especially how it looks w the chambray shirt.

You look so gosh darn cute in everything! I like how you mixed it with the chambray shirt and created a pseudo jacket. No wonder you’re a stylist! xo

I love multi-purpose clothing items! It goes from day wear to biz wear so easily.

such a versatile dress…perfect for summer. Love how you styled it with the denim shirt belted!!

  5. That is such a beautiful summery dress…. and sweet cover up!! I love when cute clothes do double duty. Heh, I said duty……

Wow! The fourth picture is great, as it tops this set off and makes it seem spontaneous!

This outfit looks great, and stripes, espcially in a vertical pattern is rare to see. I’m so used to people just wearing a striped shirt in the horizontal direction.

    Great outfit!

    Keith.

I really enjoy these photos. You look so animated and like you are having tons of fun! And the dress? Oh stripes how you suck me in every time. I like both looks, but because I love my arms covered, I am really liking the one with the chambray shirt.
