Spring Pink

I got these pink jeans a few weeks back but they’ve somehow escaped the glory of a blog post so far! They are the perfect transitional piece for spring because they are light and cropped and oh so pretty with summery whites, are they not?

I don’t usually recommend jeans from The Gap to my clients because they tend to get Saggy Butt after a few hours of wear, and while these aren’t exactly Saggy Butt, they are Sliders, which is equally as frustrating. Saggy Butt means they get loose and baggy in the booty, while Sliders just work their way down the booty over the course of the day, requiring ample amounts of tugging back up. I guess they have more elastic in them, but they still stretch in the waist. However, the color is pretty and the price was right, so I can recommend them if you aren’t fully committed to colored jeans and want a little fun piece to spice up your spring. But don’t say I didn’t warn you! (I really tried to make a butt-pun just now but it only works well with a Beavis and Butthead voice which is impossible for me to convey in text form…)

UHHH! Sliders!!! I have a pair of sliders that are so bad that when I gave them a yank last week, one of the belt loops popped. But I still love them. What can I say? I need the little stretch in the waist so I will just deal. Until I can find the ultimate skinny. But yours are cute!! I want a rainbow of colors!

I own this same pair in lilac, and yes, they are Sliders. But I love them! I’ve been trying to figure out different ways to wear them and for some reason had not thought to pair them with a denim shirt. So yeah, thanks for the inspiration!!

You are awesome. I’ve been trying to find a word for jeans that go haywire after a couple of hours– now I will call them Saggy B’s.

Oh no, I can’t handle saggy butt problems because I have no butt and it just makes it even worse! However, these pink jeans look so cute on you! You definitely didn’t have saggy butt syndrome from them when these pictures were taken. They look great with your white blouse. Very springy.
