A while back I was asked to do a product review for Eshakti. I usually ignore those review request emails because the product is not something I’m interested in or would ever choose to purchase in a million years. Sorry, Fancy Themed Bathing Suit site. So I was a little skeptical when Eshakti approached me, but looked at their site, found a nice variety of styles for every different type of body, and loved the idea that the pieces could be custom-fit to my measurements, thus taking my online shopping fit-fear away. I thought I would give it a try since how often can you try out web shopping? I usually only ever buy shoes online, and even then half of the time I have to return them.
So the difficult part was deciding on an item to review. I love full skirts, and I was drawn to this one’s color and shape. I thought it would be an easy alternative to a plain white skirt, but still supremely wearable. When it arrived it was of much better quality than I expected. I am generally leery of internet sites where you can’t see how short something is, or how thick the fabric. This skirt is fully lined, made of sturdy cotton, and falls right above the knee. The only thing about the skirt that makes it somewhat challenging styling-wise is how voluminous it is due to the lining and fabric. It’s almost too nice. I tamped down the pouf by wearing a slightly longer top over it and belting the sucker. The jean jacket gives it a casual vibe, and I am all about jean jackets with anything girly. Overall, I think it makes for many bright possibilities.
If you want to try out Eshakti‘s line yourself, you can peruse the options, tailor your piece, and then enter in code TROPHY0811 and receive $20 off your purchase at checkout.
