I’ve been prepping some fun presentations for my Style Parties for spring, and in doing so have been collecting some new trendier pieces to style. I like to try out a trend before I talk about it, so that I can give a well-rounded discussion of the different options for wearing them, and to make sure it’s not something I’ll get sick of in two days (sorry, neon). One easy to wear spring trend this year is pastel colors for everything, but particularly layers. I love the pale washed-out blazers I’ve been seeing, and this pale minty sweater called my name and told me that I can not only pair it with white when it’s warmer, but black if I want to dress it up, and of course with jeans (the obvious choice).
Pastels are super versatile because there’s usually a shade that’s right for everyone. If you hate them by your face, get yourself a pair of pale pink sneakers or oxfords, or a little sky blue cross-body bag (also trendy).
