I Thought of a Great Title Earlier…

In kind of a funk today, but felt better after an afternoon latte run with Penny and the cameraman…I finally got the sweater I’ve been dreaming of yesterday on my aforementioned trip to Madewell, along with some other major steals. This sweater was originally $75 and I thought that was way too much for a sweater in Texas, so I waited patiently until I could snag it for under $30! Everything was marked down AND had an additional 25%. If you are a size XS there are many sizes left for you at the Austin store. Sorry I snagged one of the last mediums!
Forever 21 and Zara had slimmer pickings. Does anyone else but me have a hard time fitting into their pants? I feel like I am in between sizes there, and get confused as to whether they look good or not. I didn’t get anything there…

Sweater, shoes: Madewell
Skirt: American Apparel
Tights: DKNY
Bag, sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I DID however, at F21, find some amazingly comfy genie pants that make me look like Blanche on the Golden Girls and that’s how I roll, baby. I call this look “glamma” which is way cuter sounding than “glamdma” or “glandma.”

Top: Vintage? BCBG
Pants, earrings: Forever 21
Get Your Kicks Wedges: ModCloth
Necklace: Kendra Scott

I know how that is with post titles…I actually keep a word document sometimes with quotes I want to use.

Lovely finds :) I am always proud when I manage to wait it out (and could kick myself when I wait and miss it)

    Happy weekend!

Dead on glamma for sure. I don't ever buy pants from F21 because they're really crappy quality in my experience :\ but pants are always tricky for me. (as they are for everyone, right?)

Your new sweater looks great in that outfit! I love how you balance the preppiness with the pixie boots and green tights. So good!

i hear you about the forever 21 pants… as if jeans shopping isn't bad enough. i swear those jeans are sewed free form. they never fit right and are so irregularly sized. i've given up!
