Coat On/Coat Off

Either I’m a big wuss or it’s pretty cold. Maybe both. Probably mostly the first thing.
Thanks for your responses on my previous neurotic post! It’s comforting to know that some of you feel the same way I do. I think it’s so interesting that for a lot of you, it’s the people that you know in real life who read your blog make you feel the most embarrassed/self-conscious whathaveyou. While I do feel kind of weird having new people I’ve just met read my blog, it’s my good friends and family who were my only readers for most of the time I’ve been blogging, and they are the ones who encouraged me to do it.
In the end, this blog makes me want to be creative and get dressed in the morning, which is a pretty amazing feat some days. So if that’s all it ever amounts to, I feel it’s been a success!

Shout out to Star at Dog&Pony who is responsible for these amazingly cool shoes. They are by Osborn and handmade in Guatemala. Each pair seems to be one of a kind. Awesome!  Stay tuned for more updates on this local shop….

I sincerely apologize that you can’t see Penny in these pictures because she got a hand-me-down parka from her amazing dog-friend Gordon last night and she looks so cute it’s almost unbearable.

Great color on the parka, and the cardigan looks so pretty underneath!

Thanks for the comment! And those darn wedges dig into my ankle on the left shoe for some reason, but otherwise they seem super comfy. And I'm a huge wuss with heels. I'm much happier with oxfords on, but for some reason I'm a sucker for these wedges!

I have a lot of these same strange angsty blog feelings. (Blogistentialism?) Getting dressed has really changed since I started blogging my outfits multiple times a week. I feel this really intense pressure to one up myself all the time. As much as I feel totally trapped in my blogging, I also really love it. Which is why I stay. I guess I have mixed feelings. I'm honestly SO busy that it's really not productive or sane or anything for me to blog… but I just can't stay away!
