Austin Personal Stylist

Hi! I’m Laurel Kinney, an Austin-based personal stylist. I will help you find (or just enhance) your true individual style according to your body type, lifestyle, and budget. I have ten years experience in social work and mental health, so I am sensitive to the issues of identity, body image, life transition, and finances that sometimes come up during the process. That, and I think about clothes ALL THE TIME.

The Process: I use a tried and true, three part process for most of my styling service packages. I spend time with you in your closet to see what you have and what you need, I spend time pre-shopping before you meet me at the store so that everything is ready for you to simply try on, and then we return to your closet and I create dozens of new outfits for you! Most packages can be completed within a week!

I love to work with any woman who wants to increase her confidence by taking her style up a notch.  Lots of my clients are already stylish, but just need a little push to see their wardrobe differently or maybe take a little risk outside their comfort zone. I will help you maximize the wardrobe you already have, and save you money and time by helping you find the items that you really need.

How it works:

• Check out all of my services in the drop-down menu above
• Select the service that’s right for you, or contact me with questions.
• We will schedule the service, and I will send you detailed information about what to expect. For all Sort, Shop, and Style packages, a fee of $50 (payable via Paypal or check) is required to secure your appointment.
• Most service packages include an in-closet consultation and sort, a personal shopping trip where I pre-shop for you and we meet to try the items on, and a final in-closet styling session where I create dozens of outfits from what you bought and already own.
• I compile your new outfits into a digital photo album for you to refer to.
• You end up feeling smart about the way you dress, you save money since you aren’t buying the same stuff you never wear anyway, and you can better concentrate on what’s most important to you in life (since you aren’t worried about how you look)!
