So, it’s ACL weekend, and for those of you living in Austin you know what that means. For those of you who don’t, you might be here, too. It’s a huge three-day music festival with superamazingacts like Stevie Wonder and Arcade Fire. Of course, I am not going. Every year I think “why would I ever want to stand outside for 3 days in 100 degree heat?” and I don’t get tickets. Then the weekend arrives and I feel like I wish I were there. Oh well. I can dress like it, right?
My friend Megan has a cool music blog/radio show called Boarding Pass. Not only is Megan fun and interesting with a cool South African accent, but she also has a flair for fashion. She’s always rocking some colorful getup and totally owning it. So what better combo than ACL, Boarding Pass, and Megan’s new Messenger bag? She created this bag for her on-the-go readers so that they could have easy access to all they need while they live their cool music-infused lives. I love the width of the strap and the size of it. The bag gave me nostalgic feelings when I saw it for the first time, so I created a sort of 90’s style party outfit with it, and then a more Laurel Today outfit as well. Thanks for the fun, Megan!

I love this bag, I love Megan, and I love your outfits!! However, I do not love ACL – it makes Austin all congested and crazy!! I will just enjoy Stevie Wonder on my iPod dust and crowd free
Obsessed with the white top/purple pants look-and your Chucks! Hope you loved/loving ACL!
xx
