30 for 30: Day 3 Still Very Chilly

Here we are at Day 2 of busted-ass frozen water heater fun. I got some color added to my hair this morning for a photoshoot I’m doing this weekend for my stylist, so at least I got my hair nice and washed! Thanks, Crystal! I had some major nostalgia this morning when I took a cold-water birdbath in the sink…brought me back to those winters in Maine when we wouldn’t have hot water. I decided to not get pissed off about it, just to try something new for a change.

I couldn’t pose for very long, and this weather better get more tolerable or my blog will continue to suffer (as will I). Couldn’t stand very long outside without my coat. You may not be able to tell, but I am smuggling two pairs of tights and a pair of socks under these boots!

Check out my mug and some adorable coworkers of mine on the Kendra Scott blog, why don’t you? Just scroll down past the Texas nail polish…

I'm sorry you're so cold! I don't think I could deal with a busted water heater. Your hair color looks fabulous :)

I feel like you, more than almost any other blogger I can think of, have a very particular/signature aesthetic. That's a really good thing. You really rock the rich, vibrant colors and simple but well-detailed silhouettes. I had to write silhouettes like five times before I spelled it correctly.

    xoxo

We've had busted water heaters a couple of time too, and it's like, the worst thing EVER. I shower every day and I really need it to start my day, but I am not able to take cold showers. Cold showers are insane.

I love the zebra print and the pretty colors!

  12. Lauren says:

This looks great! I'm a little behind with the 30×30 but let's do this!! You look cute and your hair is awesome!
